Maria Oršić (often spelled Orsic or Orsich) is a figure tied to post–World War I esoteric and UFO lore originating in Central Europe, particularly Germany and Austria. She is most commonly associated with the Vril Society (Vril-Gesellschaft) and secret Nazi-era “Wunderwaffe” and UFO narratives. Reliable historical evidence for her existence and the activities attributed to her is weak to non-existent; much of what circulates about Oršić derives from postwar mythmaking, conspiracy literature, and modern alternative-history communities.
