Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a pervasive public health concern that affects women of all backgrounds. However, Latina women are disproportionately affected by IPV, with higher rates of victimization compared to non-Hispanic white women. According to the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, 45.6% of Latina women reported experiencing IPV in their lifetime, compared to 31.5% of non-Hispanic white women.
