Open Water is a minimalist survival thriller directed by Chris Kentis (co‑written with Laura Lau). The film follows two scuba divers, and Daniel (Jillian Armenante) , who become unintentionally stranded in the open ocean after their boat crew mistakenly sails away. With only a few supplies, a dwindling air tank, and the relentless threat of marine life, the duo must confront both the physical elements and their own psychological limits.
