“That’s your problem,” Mike replied. “The iR 2318 is an older model. The firmware on that machine was built for an older version of the SMB protocol (SMBv1). Your new server is likely demanding SMBv2 or v3 for security. The printer literally doesn’t speak the language of the new server anymore.”
