Simon & Garfunkel, comprised of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, released their debut album "Wednesday Morning, 3 AM" in 1965. Although the album did not gain much commercial traction, it laid the groundwork for their future success. The duo's sophomore effort, "Sounds of Silence," released in 1965, fared better, thanks in part to the inclusion of the hit single "The Sound of Silence."
