This is the most polarizing aspect of the film. Bridges adopts a gruff, mumbled, Yorkshire-esque accent that is often difficult to understand. He plays the character as a mix of Gandalf and The Dude (from The Big Lebowski ), but it often feels like he is in a different, better movie.
