Through a socio-cultural analysis, this paper argues that the integration of body positivity into wellness is creating a paradigm shift from "healthism" (an obsession with achieving perfect health) toward "holistic well-being." However, this intersection is fraught with tension, specifically regarding the co-optation of radical acceptance by market forces and the persistence of "healthism" as a moral imperative.
