The gameplay involves Kratos navigating through various levels, fighting against hordes of enemies, and solving puzzles to progress through the story. The game features a variety of combos, magical spells, and a brutal finishing move known as the "Blow of the Gods," which allows Kratos to gruesomely kill his enemies.
He guided Kratos through the level. The touch controls were surprisingly responsive; virtual buttons appeared only when needed, fading into transparency during cinematics. He slaughtered a pack of cyclopes, the on-screen action fluid and brutal. He felt the power. He was playing a piece of history that had been locked away for nearly two decades.
Although constrained by mobile hardware of the early 2010s, Betrayal features with fluid animation, a dark, gritty color palette , and high‑quality sound effects that echo the series’ signature thunderous combat noises. The background music, composed by Ronny “Rumble” Berman, blends orchestral motifs with electronic beats, delivering an atmospheric soundtrack that feels both familiar and fresh.
