Accompanied by his supportive wife, Ismail faces numerous hardships, including extreme weather and opposition from a local crime lord, Taştan, who wants the school site for a casino. Along the way, he finds an unexpected ally in Mehmet, a businessman fleeing his own troubles. The film is a sequel to the 2013 movie Selam and focuses on the "struggle against ignorance".
