The story follows a group of young environmental activists who venture to a remote island to expose the secrets of a defunct laboratory. They soon discover that the island was once the site of illegal genetic experiments. The result of these experiments is a massive, highly intelligent that begins hunting them through the facility's tunnels and the surrounding marshes. The group must find a way to escape the island before the apex predator eliminates them one by one.
