Installation (general)

In the Mod Manager, always place your physics/stability mod at the top of the list. This ensures other truck mods don't overwrite the stability settings.

From a simulation standpoint, the mod reduces realism. Real heavy trucks have a high center of gravity and are prone to rollovers. Removing this risk changes the game from a driving simulator to a driving game. It removes the need for the driver to brake before curves or manage momentum.

The most common technique employed by these mods is the lowering of the Center of Gravity values in the truck and trailer chassis definitions. By mathematically lowering the mass centroid, the mod reduces the leverage that centrifugal force has on the vehicle body during a turn.
