Based out of a nondescript garage in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture, Amami gained notoriety in the early 2010s for extracting impossible horsepower figures from naturally aspirated and forced-induction engines without sacrificing drivability. His philosophy is rooted in Kaizen (continuous improvement), but with a violent edge.
